With the future uncertain due to the coronavirus pandemic, WWE is reportedly filming multiple episodes of Raw and SmackDown over the next several days.

POST Wrestling reports the next few weeks of WWE programming building to WrestleMania will be taped in advance starting tomorrow. While we had heard similar rumblings from sources, we have yet to receive actual confirmation.

As we previously reported, WWE has also made the decision to not feature battle royal matches this year – including the annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

On Wednesday, WWE announced WrestleMania will be a two-day event this year with some matches filmed at the WWE Performance Center and others filmed on different closed-set locations. There's speculation WWE may begin filming parts of the two-day WrestleMania event while talent is in town for the tapings, but that has not been confirmed.

What has been confirmed is an appearance this week from WrestleMania 36 host Rob Gronkowski, as well as a contract signing between Roman Reigns and Goldberg on Friday Night SmackDown.

WrestleMania 36 is scheduled to air on WWE Network and pay-per-view on April 4 and 5.

As it stands, the coronavirus outbreak has caused almost every major sports and entertainment organization to shut down in an effort to "flatten the curve" by not allowing large groups of people to spread it to each other by gathering in close proximity. Many parts of the country have also called for businesses like movie theaters and gyms to close for now, as well as restaurants to only serve takeout and delivery orders.
