Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Christian (aka, Christian Cage) has officially joined All Elite Wrestling.

Christian made his All Elite Wrestling debut during the company's Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday, and his signing was simultaneously confirmed by the company on social media.

As you may recall, Captain Charisma returned to the ring after a 7 year absence during WWE's Royal Rumble match back in January.

Christian did have a brief "unsanctioned" match with Randy Orton a few months ago, but he was squashed in a few seconds so we're not counting that.

"The way my career ended before never sat well with me as it was. I needed to get back in there and finish it on my terms and my way," Christian said on an episode of WWE's The Bump shortly after his Rumble appearance. "If it was just the one match at Royal Rumble then so be it, but I needed to end it on my terms. I told myself if I do these tests and I pass, then opens new doors. If I don't, then I'm in no different position. They told me I wasn't crazy and it snowballed from there."

He went on to clarify that no decisions had been made regarding his future with WWE.

"No decisions have been made. I'm not sure at this point, it's still to be determined. We'll take it day-by-day. If that ends up being my last match, I did it on my terms and that's all I wanted."
