WWE has informed their staff and roster that face masks are now required at all times during television tapings, and those who don't comply will be fined.

Individuals will be fined $500 for their first violation of the ordinance and $1,000 for their second violation. In-ring performers will not be required to wear masks.

The news was first reported by PWInsider. We've since confirmed the report sources.

Members of the Performance Center crowd started wearing face coverings during recent tapings after multiple people who had been at the PC tested positive for COVID-19. NXT's Rik Bugez and others were criticized though for being seen without their masks at times.

WWE is now testing for COVID-19 before every taping to ensure each person entering the Performance Center does not have the virus.
