After weeks of speculation, WWE has finally confirmed the Raw Women’s title match will be the actual main event of WrestleMania for the first time ever.

WWE's website reports Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch will take on Ronda Rousey in a triple threat main event at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on Sunday, April 7.

While WWE will sometimes refer to multiple matches as main events, this announcement appears to state the women will be closing the show and not Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins or the WWE Championship match likely featuring Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston.

While this may have seem like a given conclusion after the past few months, this is still a big step for WWE going forward.
