Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler are the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions after they defeated defending champs the Street Profits.

It all went down on this week's edition of SmackDown.

Roode and Ziggler took on Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins with the gold on the line. Montez appeared to sustain a knee injury early on in the match. He was visibly in pain, but it didn't prevent him from getting any offence in.

The Street Profits fought valiantly despite Montez's injury, but it wasn't enough. It took a lot of damage to seal the deal, but Roode and Ziggler eventually picked up the win.

As you might recall, Street Profits became champs when they traded their Raw tag titles for the New Day’s SmackDown tag titles when the teams were drafted to opposite brands during the WWE draft back in October 2020.

Sadly, their reign had come to an end, and The Dirty Dawgs are now the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
