The most recent Survivor Series may have included the involvement of NXT, but in a new interview WALTER doesn't sound too pleased with how he was used.

The NXT UK champ spoke with Metro.co.uk to promote the upcoming Worlds Collide event in which Imperium will face-off against Undisputed Era.

During the interview, WALTER was asked about being on Team NXT in the Men's Survivor Series match back in November. The wrestler surprisingly responded saying he felt as though his involvement in the story was a mistake.  "I wasn’t invested in that," he explained. "I didn’t care. I care about my guys, my group, I care about the sport, but I don’t care about all those people being angry each other."

WALTER seems to be referencing the "brand warfare" element of the show and how he was teamed with random people, then eliminated quickly.

"‘It was a weird match too – three five-men tag teams, and always three guys in the ring. That’s when wrestling turns from competition to putting acrobats in a circus to do a show," the 32-year-old wrestler continued.

All that aside, WALTER told the publication he would love to make an appearance this weekend in the Royal Rumble. "I think it’s a different case. You’re not in there with a group of people you don’t really know, but you have to be in a team with them. In the Royal Rumble, it’s a lot of people but it’s every man for himself."
