Undertaker Says Modern WWE Lacks Substance And Is “Too Pretty”

WWE legend The Undertaker has revealed that he finds it difficult to watch the current product due to the emphasis on style over substance.

Undertaker expressed his opinion on the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, on which he was a guest.

“I try [to enjoy it as a fan]. It’s tough for me because the product has changed so much and it’s kind of soft,” Taker replied when asked by Rogan if he follows the current product. “I’ll probably piss a lot of people off but they need to hear it. It is what it is. But to the young guys, ‘oh, he’s a bitter old guy.’ I’m not bitter, I did my time. I’m good, I walked away when I wanted to walk away. I just think the product is a little soft. There’s guys here and there that have an edge to them, but there’s too much pretty and not enough substance right now,” he said.

After an epic 30-year career with WWE, the legendary Undertaker has hung up his hat for the last time at last year’s Survivor Series — the same event at which he debuted way back in 1990!

Shane McMahon, Big Show, JBL, Jeff Hardy, Mick Foley, The Godfather, The Godwinns, Savio Vega, Rikishi, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Triple H, and Kane all made their way to the ring to pay homage to the Deadman before an emotional video package consisting of some of the most memorable moments of his career aired. The video also featured messages from Batista and John Cena, who were unable to attend the event in-person.
