Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz is officially coming out of retirement to take on ex-WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio in an MMA fight.

44-year-old Ortiz will take on Alberto El Patron, 42, at the Payne Arena in Hidalgo, Texas on December 7 in a match that is being organized by Combate Americas on pay-per-view.

According to ESPN ... Patron is training for the fight with former Bellator fighter Javier Torres, Bellator heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Ryan Bader and UFC veteran CB Dollaway.

The fight is expected to cost $39.99 on pay-per-view.

The pair teased facing-off in the ring back in July, but today the date and location were confirmed by ESPN's Ariel Helwani. El Patron, who hasn't had an MMA fight since 2010, finished his mixed martial arts career on a high after winning six of his last seven fights.

Tito Ortiz announced his retirement in 2018 after knocking-out Chuck Liddel.
