The upcoming edition of Friday Night SmackDown was pre-taped so that WWE Superstars could take some time off over the holidays.
In the main event of the show, Big E defeated Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship in a lumberjack match.
Reportedly, Zayn made several attempts to flee during the match, but was prevented from doing so by the lumberjacks who were loyal to Big E.
Big E hit Zayn with a Big Ending to pick u the win. Following the match, Big E's locker room buddies celebrated with him in the ring.
The episode which will air on Friday, December 25 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX was taped on Tuesday evening at the WWE ThunderDome.
