The Winners of the 2020 “Sami” Awards Have Been Announced

Sami Zayn hosted the 1st annual Sami Awards on this week’s edition of SmackDown … and the winners might surprise you.

Zayn created the awards to counter the Slammy Awards, which he believes are phony.

The Intercontinental Champion donned a suit and presented the awards from behind a podium at the top of the ramp.

The winners were as follows:

  • Comeback of the Year: Sami Zayn
  • Match of the Year: Sami Zayn/Jeff Hardy/AJ Styles
  • Superstar of the Year: Big E

Zayn was surprised by Big E’s victory, and even more surprised when the man himself emerged to collect his award.
