Impact Wrestling announced the return of the Super X Cup tournament during Monday’s television tapings … and one of the competitors turned out to be a familiar face from ROH!

ACH, who left Ring of HonorĀ back in November, was announced as part of the eight-man bracket alongside Drago, Davey Richards, Andrew Everett, Dezmond Xavier, Idris Abraham, Ishimori and Sammy Guevara.

This marks the third Super X Cup in company history and first since 2005. The previous winners were Chris Sabin and Samoa Joe.

The anime-loving high flyer advanced to the second round after beating Everett later in the night.

this is actually a huge get for GFW Impact Wrestling, let’s hope they don’t screw him up like they did with every big talent they have gotten over the years.

  2. Rumor was he left ROH for a WWE deal… Wonder what happened there? Regardless, He needs a reboot. Kinda sad that it’s TNA.

  3. Look at all those people!
