AEW’s newest recruit hasn’t even been with company for 24 hours, and he’s already breaking records … well, kinda.
All Elite Wrestling began selling Sting merchandise in the immediate aftermath of The Icon’s shocking debut on this week’s edition of Dynamite, which evidentially was a very smart move.
According to reputable wrestling merchandise purveyors Pro Wrestling Tees, Sting’s first ever AEW t-shirt broke the record for most shirts sold in 24 hours on their website.
In case you missed it, Sting debuted on Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite. Making his way down the ramp during a tag match between the team of Darby Allin and Cody Rhodes, and Team Taz members Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks.
