Eddie Guerrero's oldest daughter Shaul Guerrero has joined WOW-Women of Wrestling as their new ring announcer for tapings set to take place in October.

“I’m excited to build my own legacy in the world of wrestling” said Guerrero in the press release breaking the news.

Shaul Guerrero will take over the ring announcing duties from long-time WOW ring announcer and GLOW founder David McLane at a live event in Los Angeles on October 10th.

“Working with WOW is a dream come true, and a bit of a twist of fate that David McLane is passing the mic to me—my Uncle Mando trained the GLOW girls back in the ‘80s for David,”  Shaul said about taking over for McLane.Shaul was previously signed to the WWE in 2010 and performed under the name Raquel Diaz in development before leaving in 2014. During her time with the promotion, Shaul was able to make history by becoming the longest running FCW Women’s Champion and appearing in a handful of the early NXT episodes.

Guerrero has more recently been working on the independent scene as a host/commentator, but will now be making WOW her home.

AXS TV will be broadcasting the upcoming WOW tapings beginning in early 2019.
