Shadia Bseiso, the first Arab woman from the Middle East to sign with WWE, has reportedly been released from the company.

According to Squared Circle Sirens, Bseiso and her husband Nasser 'Jimmy' Alruwayeh were recently let go. Jimmy had been touted as the first Kuwaiti man to sign with WWE.

Bseiso's signing was announced in October 2017 and she reported for duty at the WWE Performance Center in January. While she never officially wrestled in NXT, Shadia was used as a backstage interviewer during the second Mae Young Classic and as a manager at live events.

No word yet on what her plans for the future may be.
