Scott Steiner Rushed to Hospital During Impact Wrestling Taping

Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed Scott Steiner was rushed to the hospital tonight during a taping of Impact Wrestling.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp first reported Steiner was taken to the hospital this evening after collapsing backstage at the tapings.

Sources tell us the 57-year-old wrestler was worked on by paramedics on-scene after collapsing at the tapings and eventually taken to the emergency room.

Steiner was taking part in a TNA-themed episode of Impact Wrestling being filmed at at the Coca Cola Roxxy in Atlanta as a throwback to the earlier years of the company. According to one source, the wrestler appeared to be fine throughout the day prior to collapsing.

Impact Wrestling EVP Scott D’Amore tweeted saying, “For all concerned parties [Scott Steiner] is OK. His family is grateful for everybody’s concern and support.” Tommy Dreamer also tweeted saying he’s at the hospital and Steiner is “doing well and under great care.”

“Say a prayer for Big Poppa Pump Holla if ya hear me,” Dreamer added.
