Damien Sandow aka Aron Rex Says He No Longer Works For Impact Wrestling (VIDEO)

The list of departures from Impact Wrestling continues to grow … because Damien Sandow aka Aron Rex announced this weekend that he’s already done with the company.

In an interview with Title Match Wrestling at WrestleCon in Orlando Rex said, “I don’t know if this is going to be it for me, because you know I’m no longer with Impact. Ending on this note is not a bad thing. I’m not saying that I’m never going to get in the ring again, but this is pretty cool and I’d much rather have people remember me for all the good stuff.”

Aron debuted on Impact in August 2016 and became the first Impact Grand Champion in October.

Since then he dropped the belt to Moose, turned heel, took a hiatus and was repackaged in January with a flamboyant, Liberace-inspired gimmick alongside Rockstar Spud.

Sandow noted on Twitter afterward that he’s not quite done with the wrestling business … he’s just “doing some other stuff for awhile.” Watch the video below.
