Samoa Joe Returning to Raw Commentary Team

samoa joe returning raw commentary team performance center

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Samoa Joe is returning to the Raw commentary team.

As we previously reported, WWE is filming two episodes of Raw today at the Performance Center in Orlando. One will air tonight and the other will air next week. This is being done to limit the amount of travel competitors will need to do during the pandemic.

Sources tell us Joe is in attendance at the tapings and will return to the commentary team during at least one of the shows, if not both.

Samoa Joe was briefly part of the announce team at the end of last year and received high praise for his work from fans and management alike. He was then cleared to return to action, but in February suffered another injury during a commercial shoot for the USA Network. Not long after that, the company announced Joe had been suspended for a Wellness Policy violation.

No word on who Joe will replace at the announce desk, or if it’ll be a four-man booth.

  1. Be glad when the fans return to the ringside area !!

  2. That’s probably the best spot for Joe moving on. No more wrestling for him, he gets injured too much.
