The wedding ceremony between Bobby Lashley and Lana went off the rails this week during Raw, and Rusev talked about it all in a new interview.

"The Bulgarian Brute" chatted about the polarizing segment with one half of the Raw announce team this week on the latest episode of "The Jerry Lawler Show."

Rusev began the interview saying he was inside of the cake for 30 minutes before popping out, and by the time he did he was drenched in sweat.

The wrestler also joked with Lawler about Lashley's makeup rubbing off on Lana during the segment, saying he loved it, and admits to almost popping out of the cake early when her "first husband" came out because he was unaware the guy existed.

As for Liv Morgan ... Rusev talked about he and Lana celebrated New Year's Eve with Liv on two separate occasions in the past, but he never thought anything was going on between them. "I'm not saying anything happened, but I'm not saying nothing didn't. I don't know. At this point I don't know my wife," he added.

"The Bulgarian Brute" additionally touched on the reactions from social media to his current angle and had a lot to say. "People hate it. People love it. But the power of social media ... now it's almost like, 'I wanna be a cool guy and cheer against WWE.' You can put the greatest segment in history, but there will be this 3% of people that are going to go ahead and bash it. And hey, you have your right. Go ahead and express it. I'm not gonna judge you for it," Rusev explained.

"There's some people that want to see 3 hours of powerbombs. And hey, kudos to you. If that's what you're into, go ahead and find what works for you. But we are a broad company, we are entertainment. It's not about powerbombs. It's not about armdrags. It's about entertaining millions and millions of people week in and week out" the WWE star added.

Lawler's co-host then pointed to the YouTube numbers the segment has and Rusev replied saying the numbers are proof that what they're doing with his storyline works.

Jerry Lawler also says Vince McMahon was supposed to miss Raw this week for an important meeting, likely due to the XFL launching soon, but the Chairman showed up as the show was in progress because he didn't want to miss the wedding segment.
