WWE star Rusev has pledged $20,000 of his own money to help WWE workers behind the scenes without income at the moment because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Rusev tweeted, "In Bulgaria we say “ It’s not a lot but it’s from the heart” I pledge 20,000$ to any of my WWE extended family that are sitting at home without income. WE can’t do it without y’all. Production, security, etc. LOVE YALL."

WWE is currently pre-taping content for the next two weeks of programming in the build to WrestleMania 36. Essential personnel are the only people allowed at the tapings, therefore many behind the scenes employees are not working at the moment.

As seen below, however, some of the people still working behind the scenes at the shows are taking extra precautions by wearing gloves and/or face masks.
