The wait is finally over! Ronda Rousey has signed a deal with WWE and surprised the wrestling world by making an appearance at the Royal Rumble.

For those who missed it, Rousey walked to the ring after Asuka won the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble and pointed to the WrestleMania sign. She also shook Stephanie McMahon's hand.

According to ESPN, Ronda has signed a full-time deal with WWE and the former UFC star told them "This is my life now. First priority on my timeline for the next several years."

"This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt," Rousey continued. "When I first met with Triple H, I told him, 'There are other things I can do with my time that'll make way more money, but I won't enjoy nearly as much.'"

As for how it was kept a secret ... the 30-year-old told ESPN she flew commercial from Colombia to Florida, then took a private flight into New Jersey, and multiple different cars and back doors/elevators en route to the arena. A makeup artist on the movie she's filming even went as far as posting a picture on social media this morning to make it appear as though Ronda was on set.

No word yet on who she's set to face-off against at WrestleMania.
