As April 7th approaches, Ronda Rousey is turning up the pressure on herself by suggesting that the future of women's wrestling depends on the success of WrestleMania 35.

The Raw Women's Champion opened up about her cautious optimism on the latest episode of her YouTube vlog series.

"We just need to make sure that the event is a huge success," she said while her glam squad removed her makeup in a Boston hotel room following Monday night's edition of Raw. "It needs to do extremely well in pay-per-view buys. I mean, I want it to be the best ever, because we need the women headlining WrestleMania to not be an isolated event."

Adding, "We need it to be proof that this works."

Ronda then compared the WrestleMania 35 main event to her 2013 UFC fight against Liz Carmouche. "Everything depended on that event being a success. The whole future of women in that sport," she said. "And I think the future of women in this industry depends on the success of WrestleMania 35."
