Roman Reigns — SUSPENDED for Wellness Violation

Roman Reigns suspended wellness violation policy wwe wrestler wrestling

WWE just released a statement saying they’ve suspended Roman Reigns for 30 days after he violated the company’s wellness policy.

According to, “WWE has suspended Joe Anoa`i (Roman Reigns) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.”

Unclear when he was tested, but Roman appeared on RAW last night and a Battleground main event was set between all 3 former members of The Shield — so it would appear like Reigns dropping the title at Money in the Bank was unrelated.

Reigns commented on the matter … saying, “I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it.”

No further information was made available at this time.

  1. Sadly, returning just in time to return for Battleground. They have been limiting his appearances for RAW/Smackdown lately so the suspension really doesn’t affect McMahon’s golden boy. Just one or two badly performed promos will be missed.
