Not just content with being the highest paid male actor in the world, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson says he’s actually thinking about a future run for President.
The People’s Champ was asked by GQ if he would consider giving up his career as a movie star to run for office and Johnson solemnly said, “I think that it’s a real possibility.”
“Personally, I feel that if I were president, poise would be important. Leadership would be important,” Johnson added. “Taking responsibility for everybody. [If I didn’t agree with someone] on something, I wouldn’t shut them out. I would actually include them.”
He then went on to confirm that both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump’s campaigns reached out to him for endorsements, but he ended up not giving them due to how the public views his opinions.
Weaver noted that he remained “cagey” on his own political views, but did confirm that he is a registered independent and that he disagrees with Trump’s muslim ban.
“Do you smell what The President is cooking” does have a nice ring to it.
