Following a suspension over a Wellness Policy violation last month, Robert Roode returned on SmackDown tonight after the main event.
It all went down in the closing minutes of the show when The Usos vs. King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler ended in disqualification due to Roman Reigns spearing Corbin.
A brawl broke out afterward and Robert Roode ran in from the crowd to save Corbin from Reigns.
Roode hit a spinebuster on Reigns onto the announce table, then held him down as Ziggler hit an elbow drop onto Roman to smash it. The heels celebrated as the show came to a close.
As we previously reported, Roode and Primo Colon were hit with 30-day suspensions in December. Primo has since claimed his suspension happened because he wasn’t willing to travel to take WWE’s test with one of their doctors and instead wanted to handle it locally.
