The rumors were true! The newest inductee into the WWE Hall Of Fame is Mr. Monday Night himself: “Rob! Van! Dam!”

The news was confirmed by Ryan Satin of Fox Sports on Monday.

Van Dam's rise to Superstardom began in Paul Heyman's ECW back in 1996. He would become a member of the WWE roster in 2001 where he would cement his status as a pro-wrestling legend.

RVD beat William Regal for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 18. He later unified the European and Hardcore Titles.

In 2006 Van Dam won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania 22. He would cash in his contract and challenge WWE Champion John Cena for the title at ECW One Night Stand. With the rowdy New York crowd on his side, RVD was able to defeat Cena and begin his only reign as WWE Champion.

"The Whole F**king Show" will take his place in the WWE Hall Of Fame during the 2021 Induction Ceremony, streaming Tuesday, April 6 on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else.
