ROH just re-signed 3 of their most popular wrestlers … and Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned the contracts for Jay Lethal, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish were inked earlier this month.
Ring of Honor made the announcement today saying all 3 had signed deals. We’re told after over a month of negotiating, O’Reilly and Fish from reDRagon signed 1-year contracts.
As for Lethal, sources close to the situation tell us his deal is similar to the contract recently signed by The Young Bucks — which only allows them to wrestle for ROH, PWG, New Japan and other overseas companies. It’s unclear though how long his agreement lasts.
Jay Lethal explained in the press release, “The Best Professional Wrestling on the Planet isn’t a clever marketing moniker – I have re-signed with ROH to prove that I am the best professional wrestler in the world as I defend the Ring of Honor World Championship across the globe.”
Kyle O’Reilly added, “We have our sights set on it all in 2016 – singles and tag team gold. 2016 will be the Year of the Dragon in ROH.”
Excited to see more from these 3 wrestlers? Let us know in the comments.
