WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi paid tribute to his “Too Cool” stablemate Brian Christopher last night … saying he’ll carry on Grandmaster Sexay’s passion to entertain.

As we previously reported, Christopher — real name Brian Lawler — was found by guards in his jail cell after a suicide attempt over the weekend and ultimately passed away on Sunday.

Reacting to the news last night on Instagram, Rikishi shared a picture of their final performance.

“Brian’s living spirit was always his passion for adventure and love for the wrestling business,” he wrote. “What I will carry with me most is the Grandmasta’s infectious smile and wicked laugh but most of all is his passion to entertain each and every person he ever came in contact with.”

Too Cool last appeared together on WWE television in 2014 for Old School RAW. The trio defeated 3MB in 6-man tag competition.

  1. Very sad. Too Cool and Rikishi were my favorite act of the Attitude Era in the WWE. You could not wait for their match to end to see them dance.

  2. Man this just shocked me. I myself was an attitude era kid and loved too cool they were hilarious and entertaining to me and throw in rikishi and they were awesome to watch. My thoughts go out to people close to brian and his family. Even though he’s gone he will live on through his wwe career and legacy.
