Rhea Ripley is saying goodbye to WWE's black and gold brand as she prepares to make the jump to Monday Night Raw.

WWE announced Rhea's move to Mondays via a hype package on the most recent edition of Raw.

The 24-year-old has been flirting with a main roster call-up since last year's road to WrestleMania when she goaded Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair into challenging her for the NXT Championship.

Ripley would ultimately lose the title to Flair on Night 2 of WrestleMania 36. Despite this, the Aussie has more than earned her place on the Raw roster.

Ripley debuted for WWE in the inaugural Mae Young Classic back in 2017. The following year she reached the final of the tournament, but lost to Io Shirai. Later in 2018, Ripley became the first ever NXT UK Women's Champion when she defeated fellow Australian Toni Storm in the finals of an eight woman tournament to determine the inaugural champ.

Rhea's move to Raw makes sense as there's nothing left for her to accomplish at NXT, and the Raw women's roster is in desperate need of some fresh blood.

Good luck on Raw, Rhea!
