Recently returned Superstar Rey Mysterio has one goal now that he's back in WWE -- wrestle alongside his son Dominic who is training to follow in his footsteps.

Mysterio was a guest on the latest episode of Chasing Glory With Lilian Garcia and talked about the progress his son has made since began training in 2017.

As we previously reported, Dominic began training in January of last year and Rey was hopeful about his son's future in the industry.

In the new interview, Mysterio says Dominic recently stepped up his training and took part in a three-month stint at the Storm Wrestling Academy in Canada under Lance Storm's tutelage. When that is complete at the end of the month, Dominic will begin classes at either Booker T's school in Texas or in Mexico City to learn lucha libre.

As for that match in WWE with his now 21-year-old son ... Rey was asked what goals he has left to accomplish in WWE and said, "The only thing that I would love to do as a father, and as a sports entertainer, is being able to share the ring with my son."

FYI -- this is the same Dominic who appeared on WWE TV in 2005.
