Many of the wrestlers released by WWE today took to social media afterward to react to the news.

As we previously reported, WWE is reducing the amount of talent on the roster in an effort to save money to prepare for the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the company.

Zack Ryder, who was one of the people released today, tweeted afterward showing a picture of a painting of the WrestleMania moment involving him and his father.

"The only thing I wanted to do in life was wrestle. I’m grateful I spent 14 years living my dream in WWE. Thanks to my fans & everyone who believed in me. As I was getting released, I was looking at this photo & smiling. I’m #AlwayzReady & beyond excited for the future," he wrote with the photo.
