Former WWE star Justin Gabriel aka PJ Black claims he recently had an offer on the table to return to NXT ... but he turned them down.

"Right before Ring of Honor, I actually got an offer from NXT," Black told Chris Van Vliet in a new interview. "They wanted me to go back there. There were a couple of other offers too, from TNA and stuff, and I chose Ring of Honor because they give me freedom and it's a great deal financially."

Adding, "It's only for 12 months too. After that, it becomes like a 30-day notice deal. I have a feeling it's gonna be like two or three years, but let's see what happens."

PJ also talks about fighting to get out of his Lucha Underground contract and how his ROH deal states he'll be allowed to film a few episodes of the show to tie up loose ends should it return.

As we previously reported, other Lucha Underground stars are currently involved in a class action lawsuit to hopefully get out of their deals.
