Tournament participants were announced on Thursday for an upcoming Network special called WWE Worlds Collide ... then hours later one of the names got pulled.

As we previously reported, Humberto Carrillo was listed as one of 205 Live wrestlers participating in the tournament -- even though he's not part of that show.

Wrestling Sheet readers with a keen eye have since spotted Carrillo's name was removed from WWE.com's announcement. It now simply says "a Superstar to be named" in his place.

WWE Worlds Collide tournament will take place the weekend of Royal Rumble at Axxess. The winner receives a title shot on either NXT, NXT UK or 205 Live. No airdate has been announced.

FUN FACT: TJP seemingly learned he's in the tournament via social media. When a fan asked which title he'd choose upon winning, Perkins replied saying he didn't think he was in the tournament.

TJ followed this up moments later by writing, "Oh! I guess I should put my controller down long enough to read stuff. Ok then, let’s do this....ima make this one a slow jam"
