WWE Superstar Otis has responded to recent reports claiming he was ordered to return to the WWE Performance Center for extra training.

In case you missed it, several outlets recently reported that Vince McMahon asked several members of WWE's main roster to undergo extra training sessions. Allegedly, McMahon thought that Otis, Keith Lee,  Mace (Dio Maddin), Dabba-Kato, and Omos were sloppy workers who would benefit from a few extra training hours.

In a recent interview with Ryan Satin of Fox Sports Otis seemed confused by the reports, and implied that his extra training sessions are nothing out of the ordinary.

"It wasn’t like, 'Hey, we were told this and that.' That Performance Center is a tool for us to get better," he said. "We're always working. So that report was kinda funny."

"Blue Collar Solid" also pointed out that everyone needs extra ring time because the COVID-19 pandemic has put a stop to live events.

"We're never not working. Especially now we don't have a lot of events so we can't get our stuff out. So we'll find more and more ways to get in the ring," he added.

The big man insinuated that he hadn't been ordered to report for training at specific times, and that the additional training is more impromptu then the reports suggested.

"There hasn't been set dates. It's just like 'whenever you wanna come in.' So it's always been there. I don't know why they came out with a big report gimmick," he said.
