With the impending arrival of new talent, Impact Wrestling has announced this weekend's Slammiversary pay-per-view will include an open challenge.
The promotion tweeted:
BREAKING: The Rascalz have issued an Open Challenge for #Slammiversary THIS SATURDAY LIVE on PPV and [FITE]!
As we previously reported, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows will soon be heading to Impact Wrestling. There have also been rumors that more talent is on the way now that the last batch of released WWE performers are free to work elsewhere this week.
"Did you really think we would miss out on one of the biggest shows of the year?! Who’s going to answer?! Find out this Saturday," Dezmond Xavier tweeted regarding the announcement.
The rest of the card is as follows:
- IMPACT World Championship: Eddie Edwards vs. Ace Austin vs. Trey vs. mystery opponent
- Knockouts Championship: Jordynne Grace (c) vs. Deonna Purrazzo
- X-Division Championship: Willie Mack (c) vs. Chris Bey
- Tag Title Championship: The North (c) vs. Ken Shamrock and Sami Callihan
- Unsanctioned, old-school rules match: Moose vs. Tommy Dreamer
- #1 Contender Knockouts Gauntlet Match featuring Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie, Madison Rayne, Kimber Lee, Alisha Edwards, Havok, Nevaeh, Tasha Steelz, Kiera Hogan, Kylie Rae, and Susie.
