NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin has officially been postponed in the wake of COVID-19's global outbreak.

3Arena in Dublin made the announcement, stating:

NXT Takeover scheduled to take place at 3Arena on Sunday, 26 April has been postponed and will now take place on Sunday, 25 October. All tickets remain valid for the new date.

As we previously reported, the NXT UK outing in Dublin was announced last month. No matches had been confirmed for the card yet, but Finn Balor vs. WALTER had been rumored for the show.

The event could not be moved to another location in the UK either, as Prime Minister Boris Johnson recently issued a three-week quarantine for the United Kingdom.

This follows the recent cancellation of NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay, for the same reason, which will now have several of those planned matches instead happen on NXT's weekly show.
