NXT UK made multiple announcements today in anticipation of next week's return to action.

During today's show on WWE Network, it was confirmed that a Heritage Cup tournament will be taking place at the upcoming tapings inside of BT Sport studios in London.

The tournament will be contested under British Rounds rules. This means there will be six, three-minute rounds with twenty-second breaks between rounds and two out of three falls in each round. Whoever is leading after six rounds wins. Disqualification or KO ends a match.

The following competitors will be in the tournament: Flash Morgan Webster, Noam Dar, Alexander Wolfe, A-Kid, Dave Mastiff, Joseph Connors, Trent Seven and one additional yet-to-be-named Superstar.

In addition to the tournament, three title matches were also made official:

  • Kay Lee Ray will defend her NXT UK Women's Championship against Piper Niven in two weeks on September 24
  • Gallus will defend their tag titles against Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan next week
  • WALTER will defend the NXT UK title against Ilja Dragunov, though it wasn't said when
