Several matches which were planned to happen at NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay will now instead go down during the brand's weekly USA Network show.

Sports Illustrated first reported, and WWE subsequently confirmed, the matches will begin airing on NXT's show starting April 1 and airing weekly.

Triple H is expected to be part of the announcement this week on NXT.

As we previously reported ... WWE has been filming content over the past days, and will be doing the same in the days ahead, to get all of their shows in the can as the world continues to be thrown into disarray due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The only match officially announced for the TakeOver: Tampa Bay event had been a ladder match to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women’s title. Chelsea Green, Mia Yim, and Tegan Nox already earned their way in, while the other participants have not yet been revealed.

Other matches which appeared to be taking place at TakeOver include Adam Cole vs. Velveteen Dream and Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa.
