NXT UK's Jordan Devlin has returned to action for the first time since the show went on hiatus due to COVID-19 back in March ... and he brought the NXT Cruiserweight Championship with him.

Devlin's comeback occurred during this week's edition of NXT UK, where he defeated up-and-coming powerhouse Levi Muir.

When the coronavirus pandemic was first declared, travel restrictions meant that Devlin was unable to defend his Cruiserweight Championship on US soil, so a tournament to decide an "interim" champion was announced.

The tournament was eventually won by Santos Escobar.

Devlin's return was announced a few weeks ago via an NXT UK hype package in which he took shots at WWE's cruiserweight roster. "This belongs to me!, " proclaimed the Irishman referring to the cruiserweight title.

In case you missed it, Devlin was accused of sexual misconduct during the #SpeakingOut movement earlier this year.
