WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Nick Bockwinkel has passed away at the age of 80 due to "health issues" -- this according to the club he was former president of.
The Cauliflower Alley Club -- where he was a former President -- says Bockwinkel passed away Saturday night around 8:30 pm "due to health issues" ... but didn't get into specifics.
Bockwinkel was famously managed by Bobby Heenan during their tenure in the AWA, and he famously ended Verne Gagne's 7-year AWA World Heavyweight Championship run in 1975.
In 2007, Nick Bockwinkel was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
