Wes Lee and Nash Carter (aka MSK) are the new NXT Tag Team champions.

The artists formerly known as The Rascalz won the vacant titles on Night 1 of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

In a thrilling Triple Threat match, MSK were able to get the better of GYV and Legado Del Fantasma and leave the Capitol Wrestling Center with the gold draped over their shoulders.

MSK also won the 2021 Dusty Classic.

Triple H had nothing but praise for the Lee and Carter in a recent interview with Ryan Satin of Fox Sports.

“These are two kids are, I think, I’m very impressed with the things that they’ve done, but I don’t know that they really had a lot of helping hand to help have them get to where they are,” he said asked by Satin what he thought of the duo.

As you'll recall, the previous NXT tag champs Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan were forced to relinquish their NXT Tag Team Championships as they were unable to defend them.

On March 23rd, William Regal revealed that the titles would be vacated as a result of Danny Buch’s shoulder injury.

Burch was injured while defending the titles against Finn Balor and Karrion Kross. Burch was unable to finish the match, and Lorcan had to retain the titles alone.

Burch and Lorcan won the titles back in October after they defeated Breezango.
