The North's year-long title Impact tag team title reign came to an end on Tuesday after they were defeated by the Motor City Machine Guns.

As you'll recall, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin returned to Impact Wrestling over the weekend at Slammiversary and immediately called out Ethan Page and Josh Alexander. This led to a tag match between the two teams this week on Impact.

After a hard-fought, back and forth encounter between The North and MCMG, Chris Sabin reversed their tag finisher into a surprise roll-up pin for the victory.

The North held the Impact World Tag Team Championship for 381 days.
