Bobby Roode recently reunited with former TNA colleague Monty Brown at a WWE live event.

Roode share an image of himself and Brown hanging out backstage this weekend with the caption: “Great to see my old friend [Monty Brown] backstage at . Truly one of nicest guys I have ever had the pleasure of working with in this business.”

Brown debuted for TNA back in 2002, but parted ways with the company in 2006. He signed for WWE later that year and briefly wrestled as “The Alpha Male” Marcus Cor Von on the revived ECW brand before being released in 2007. He then retired from the ring.

Why is it now that the aew has their mind set on put it on there’s a show on TV. The question is what channel will take them. And will there be a nationwide Network these are all questions still yet to be answered and we’ll go over big? The answers are still in the clouds. People I’m getting a little tired of seeing the same thing over and over again with wrestling. We had WCW fighting with a WWE we had all these different small groups of wrestling enthusiastic TNA and so on and so on and a lot of them just cannot make it because the WWE is just that good and that big. It does not matter how much money the aew will have behind them it is the show that they put on the people they have and whether people will buy into it. I don’t know if they will test Market their television programs before they put them on Nationwide or whether they will have a national broadcast of them. But I tend to doubt that they will pull the numbers that they need because the WWE it’s just that strong. And if they put a third show on they will be even that much stronger I just don’t like the way that they took Smackdown I gave it to Fox I don’t think that was a good deal for the WWE I think they lost on that one but they make it back yet 205 live if they put that on as a regular program I think people would enjoy seeing some of the wrestlers that they are not seeing today.

  3. I’d like to see him wrestle again .If not I’d at least like to have his theme song back into wwe gaming

  4. So that’s what you call yourself. I wrestled back in the seventies I’m 68 years old now I did it for the Indies. We wrestled everywhere up and down the east coast in the center of the country wherever the show was. Had a lot of fun doing it it doesn’t look as much fun today it just looks like a lot of work and a lot of injuries. But we wrestled with it we were injured or not. I Wrestled a guy with a broken leg. And he got into the ring no matter what. When are you getting back in the ring? Are you still wrestling for the Indies 2? Because you certainly not going down to the elites and everything is so full in the WWE these days I don’t know if they’ll be room for you there? Or anyone else for that matter

  5. Indie wrestlers are fags lol
