Pro Wrestling Sheet is in attendance at the Mae Young Classic to keep you updated on everything going down during the second night of tournament tapings.

Wrestling Sheet correspondent Aaron Turner is sending back information, so keep refreshing throughout the night.


The tapings kick off with a video montage about the women's evolution in WWE while all of last night's winners are brought on stage.

MATCH 1: Toni Storm vs Hiroyo Matsumoto

  • Lots of mat-based wrestling. Great back and forth. Dueling Toni and Hiroyo chants break out.
  • Hot match with many near falls.
  • Toni Storm took a whooping, but ultimately ...

WINNER: Toni Storm via rollup

MATCH 2: Kacy Catanzaro vs Rhea Ripley

  • Kacy botched a springboard maneuver, which had to be re-done.
  • Valiant effort from both.

WINNER: Rhea Ripley with a pumphandle driver.

MATCH 3: Taynara Conti vs Lacey Lane

  • Quick match
  • Not much back and forth

WINNER: Lacey Lane via pinfall after hitting a crucifix bomb

MATCH 4: Mercedes Martinez vs Meiko Satomura

  • As you'd expect, they are beating the crap out of each other.
  • Crowd is split.
  • Best match of the taping so far and first "this is awesome" chant of the night.
  • Standing ovation from the crowd after the finish.

WINNER: Meiko Satomura via pinfall after a step-up axe kick.

MATCH 5: Zeuxis vs Io Shirai

  • Zeuxis getting in more offense than expected.
  • Io nails a suicide dive to the outside.

WINNER: Io hits a Frankensteiner followed by a moonsault that nearly missed for the win

MATCH 6: Deonna Purrazzo vs Xia Li

WINNER: Deonna via double armbar for the submission

MATCH 7: Nicole Matthews vs Teagan Nox

WINNER: Teagan Nox via pinfall after hitting a Shining Wizard

MATCH 8: Mia Yim vs. Kaitlyn

  • Lots of submissions being exchanged
  • Mia hits the Riott kick for a close two. Kaitlyn's lip is busted open slightly
  • Kaitlyn hits a spear for a close fall

WINNER: Mia Yim via heel hook submission

MATCH 9 (DARK MATCH) - Rachel Evers vs Karen Q

WINNER: Rachel Evers via pinfall after a sitout slam

MATCH 10: Lacey Lane vs Meiko Satomura

WINNER: Meiko Satomura after hitting a Death Valley Driver

MATCH 11: Io Shirai vs Deonna Purrazzo

WINNER: Io Shirai via pinfal after a double knee moonsault

MATCH 12: Mia Yim vs Toni Storm

  • Toni goes for Strong Zero early. Yim makes her pay with some stiff kicks
  • Storm took a serious ass whooping.
  • Mia goes for the Riott kick but Toni counters into Strong Zero for the win
  • A "please sign Mia" chant broke out afterward

WINNER: Toni Storm

MATCH 13: Tegan Nox vs Rhea Ripley

  • Tegan landed awkwardly on a suicide dive and began screaming in pain
  • Ref throws up the X and the doctor comes to check on Tegan
  • Doc clears and Ripley starts beating her down
  • Tegan goes down from a dropkick and she throws up the X and the ref calls for the bell.

WINNER: Rhea Ripley via stoppage

MATCH 14: Xia Brookside, MJ Jenkins and Jessie Eleban vs Reina Gonzalez, Vanessa Kraven and Allysin Kay

WINNER: Xia Brookside hits Allysin with a cross body for the win.

MATCH 15: Killer Kelly and Jinny vs Aerial Monroe and Candice LeRae

WINNER: Monroe pins Kelly for the win

Triple H makes his way to the stage afterward and announces Tegan Knox broke her leg.

MATCH 16: Meiko Satomura vs. Toni Storm

  • Meiko comes out hot with thunderous kicks. Hits a huge spin kick on Toni and she eats it hard.
  • Toni kicking Meiko hard. Meiko "hulks" up. Dueling kicks and the place breaks out in a "Meiko" chant.
  • Storm hits Strong Zero for a close 2. A "this is wrestling" chant breaks out.
  • Storm goes for Strong Zero again, Meiko reverses with a bicycle kick. Another close 2.
  • Meiko drills Toni with a head kick for another close 2.
  • Storm hits Strong Zero out of nowhere and Toni Storm is your winner.

WINNER: Toni Storm

Kairi Sane presents Toni with flowers.

MATCH 17: Io Shirai vs. Rhea Ripley

  • Io hit a high dropkick to Ripley's forehead causing her to roll out of the ring.
  • Shirai goes for a moonsault but Ripley drapes her across the ropes.
  • Ripley hits a superplex for a long 2.
  • Ripley goes for the pumphandle bomb, but Io throws her into the post.
  • Io hits the moonsault for the win.

WINNER: Io Shirai

Kairi Sane entered the ring and gave flowers to Io in an emotional exchange.

This means the final tournament match set to take place at Evolution will be Toni Storm vs. Io Shirai.
