The Mae Young Classic is getting closer … and WWE has just revealed the next batch of competitors.

WWE released five more names on Thursday, via ESPN, and the participants are as follows: Tessa Blanchard, Abbey Laith, Taynara Conti, Alpha Female, and Kavita Devi.

The news of Laith’s participation comes on the heels of her recent name change, while Devi’s participation had been confirmed earlier with an interview with The Times Of India. Conti is also a recent NXT signee who competed as Taynara Melo during WrestleMania Axxess this year.

The five women join Lacey Evans, Toni Storm, Sarah Logan and Princesa Sugehit ... who were announced last week. Plus, as we first reported, ex-WWE wrestler Serena Deeb is also in talks.

With the tapings coming up on July 13/14 -- and twenty-three more contestants to be announced for the single elimination tournament -- more names should be expected soon.
