Lacey Evans has opened up about her historic match with Natalya at WWE's 2019 Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.

As you may recall, Crown Jewel took place on October 31, 2019 at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Lacey was defeated by Natalya by submission in what was the first professional wrestling women's match to take place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a recent interview with WWE presenter Nathalie Mamo, Lacey said "there were so many feelings" leading up to the momentous occasion.

The WWE Superstar then explained that being a mom made the moment all the more special for her.

"It's just like pride and motivation in the history that we're gonna get to make. And the example we're gonna get to set," she said. "And you know, just being a mom I feel like really made it even more like, emotional. Because here I am as a woman who has worked so hard to show the world what we're capable of."

"I couldn't imagine my daughter having limits," Lacey continued. "Knowing that she's capable but having limits. Being able to change that was motivating to me."

The Sassy Southern Belle also shared some words of encouragement for women everywhere.

"Keep pushing yourself and never think that you can't accomplish something."
