Kenny King‘s contract with TNA Wrestling is officially over … Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned — which is why the wrestler just made his surprise return to Ring of Honor after a 3-year absence.
Sources close to King tell us the split was amicable … and Kenny is excited about wrestling for the company he first made a name for himself in — a deal that started at All Star Extravaganza 7.
For those who missed it, King and his former tag team partner Rhett Titus were the mystery opponents against the Briscoe Brothers — and the team of All Night Express picked up the win.
King left Ring of Honor in controversial fashion back in 2012 … when he vacated the ROH World Tag Team title by making a surprise appearance on TNA programming.
Good to know the bridge wasn’t forever burned.
