Jim Ross caught some flack on Twitter for calling AEW wrestler Jungle Boy by his real name on Dynamite, but the wrestler himself says he has no problem with it.

All Elite Wrestling stars Jungle Boy and Awesome Kong stopped by Wrestling Sheet Headquarters this afternoon to promote AEW's weekly series Dynamite on TNT.

During the conversation ... Jungle Boy talked about Jim Ross recently sounding off on his "Grilling JR" podcast about fans who were critical of the announcer calling him "Jungle Boy" Jack or "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry, due to the young wrestler saying in the past that he doesn't want to make it in wrestling using his famous last name.

Jack says he's become more open to being called by his name now that he's made it (to a certain degree). He's also taking the advice being given to him by people like Cody, The Young Bucks, Chris Jericho and others in AEW.

"Things are a bit different now than when I first kinda started it," he explained. "I feel like I got here, at least, on my own merits. For me, honestly, to even hear Jim Ross say my name is cool. That's the voice of wrestling to me."

"If that had happened at an earlier age and it were someone else, I probably would have said 'Can you not do that?' But I'm not gonna say that to Jim. If that's what it sounds like to him, that's cool with me," he added.

The full interview will be available tomorrow with more conversation in regards to Luchasaurus suffering an injury last week before Dynamite and what happened backstage afterward, Marko Stunt being his replacement and Awesome Kong becoming a coach in AEW.
