The Full Gear countdown special hyping AEW's upcoming pay-per-view event showed intense photos of Jon Moxley's MRSA infection.

Moxley's injury was touched upon in the special while covering the build to his match on Saturday against Kenny Omega.  As you'll recall, the former WWE star had to pull out of his match against Kenny Omega at All Out due to a MRSA infection.

AEW head physician Dr. Michael Sampson explains that a MRSA infection is basically a flesh-eating bacteria. He then says the infection got into Jon's bursa sac and talked about how Mox could've died if that had made its way into his blood stream.

That's when photos are shown of what the infection looked like (seen below).

Moxley gets another chance to face off against Omega this Saturday when they go one-on-one in an unsanctioned "lights out" match at Full Gear.

The event is also scheduled to include Joey Janela vs. Shawn Spears, So-Cal Uncensored vs. Lucha Bros. vs. Private Party, Riho vs. Emi Sakura for the AEW Women's World Title, Adam Page vs. PAC, The Young Bucks vs. Proud-n-Powerful and Cody vs. Chris Jericho for the AEW World title.
