Joey Ryan has announced that his pectoral muscle injury will unfortunately require surgery.
“The King of Dong Style” took to Twitter on Friday to update his fans on the MRI results he received.
“The MRI revealed that I have an acute tear of the left pectoral major including a high-grade tear of the clavicular head at the myotendinous junction and a high-grade intratendinous tear of the sternal head with retraction and hemorrhage into the muscle belly,” Ryan wrote.
Adding, “The Doctor is recommending surgery and I’m to call the surgeon on Monday or Tuesday to set up an appointment to see them.”
Ryan says the timetable on his recovery will be determined by his surgeon.
As we previously reported, Joey confirmed his injury after working a match at an MLW taping in Chicago earlier this month. It was unknown at the time if he’d require surgery though.
We here at The Sheet wish Joey a speedy recovery!
