WWE Superstar Jinder Mahal is wrestling in Japan this weekend for a different company … but not because he’s already on the outs, the guy’s just fulfilling a prior obligation.
Mahal’s booked to wrestle at Tokyo Dome City Hall on Saturday for IGF and on Instagram said, “Thanks to WWE for allowing me to finish up my prior commitments.”
Jinder returned to WWE last month following a 2-year absence.
This isn’t the first time WWE has allowed something like this … when Alberto Del Rio re-signed with the company last year, he was given permission to wrestle for WWC afterward in order to fulfill a contractual obligation. He was attacked by a fan during that same appearance.
Let’s hope this doesn’t end the same way.
